Hazy is at home in the yard as her momma needed some extra care before the cold sets in. Hazy is our only filly this year and so she carries all the sass the boys lack! Miss Hazy is destined to be a queen bee and has the typical red mare confidence! She is by far the flashiest foal we have had thus far. Her blue eye really gets her noticed along with all her chrome features. She is not going to be a big horse but she will have the attitude and heart to do whatever you ask of her! He is a full brother to our stallion prospect Flint and they share many similarities and looks! Huck is going to turn heads where ever he goes as he is just so classy looking! This colt should excel in anything cow related! Both sire and dam put a great amount of cow sense into their offspring. With his pedigree and proven siblings, H’Ombre is bound to make a great performance horse. Whether it be in the barrel pen (like majority of his siblings are), or around a cow (Chino’s - my ranch horse- favourite place to be), he is sure to excel! H’Ombre, like all of his siblings, shows to be a gentle natured colt and although he is a little standoffish now, once we get a halter on him he will come around and learn to like getting pets! So everyday this week, I will be posting photos of one our colts! Today’s colt is Hank. This guy is going to be a big strong powerhouse of a horse once he is finished growing! The bone and depth this colt has is going to make him a great using horse either on the ranch or in the roping pen! With his pedigree he is sure to be cowy. He is bound to get noticed with all of the chrome he has! He is a full brother to Etta. Aydon and Etta took part in a ranch horse clinic back in September! They had a couple photographers on site, and the talented Melanie Meert took this nice action shots of miss Etta! I didn’t get to go watch but at least I now have pictures to look at

Flint got put to work today. We moved a group of cows closer to the corrals to prepare for weaning... of course no photos of him actually moving the cows as there was no time for picture taking!! But we were so impressed with how he worked. It was cold & windy, the pasture was 80% bush, the cows didn’t want to cooperate and I rode my mare Chino out there with him and nothing fazed him, he just went out to work. He definitely enjoyed the trailer ride home, compared to the trailer ride out there! Haha. Here are some low quality photos that we were able to get!

We got to pick up Flint today after being in training all summer long! We cannot thank Amos Abrahamson enough for the work that he put into our young stallion prospect! We are so excited to get him home and use him for some fall ranch work! Flint has the right foundation to be handy edition to our ranch! I will be adding some videos of him as well!

Happy Thanksgiving to all of our followers! We have so much to be thankful for this year! We want to thank everyone who purchased a horse from us this year, without you buyers believing in our program, we would not be able to pursue our dreams of raising horses! Brought these 2 boys home from their summer pasture today. Super happy with how they have grown and developed over the summer months! These 2 have not been handled since May and I (Jess) was able to go by myself and pick them up. They both stood patiently to be caught and loaded right into the trailer without hesitation. They then went over to my parents where we met up with the farrier for a much needed trim where they stood like little gentlemen with hardly any protests. They stood patiently for the ride home and were just all around very easy to handle and be around with no handling for the past 4 months!
