And our first days are done! It’s a new normal to be sure, and we’re learning how to deal with fogged up faceshields, (and eyeglasses ) and smiling super hard with our eyes, but it is just SO GOOD TO BE BACK! The longest March Break in the history of forever has finally come to an end, and we are here for it!

It’s almost time! First day of class for the T/Th and 5 day programs is tomorrow (Sept.8) and the M/W/F class starts on Wednesday. (Sept.9) We can’t wait to see everyone! Be sure to check your emails to make sure you’re all caught up on everything you need to know for this school year. (The Covid screening email will be sent to everyone later on today.)

2 things: 1. For last year’s families, the 2nd showing of the year-end slideshow is happening tonight at 6:30. Check your emails for details. 2. For this year’s (September 2020-June 2021) families: the new Covid polices for the upcoming school year will be on their way to you via email in the next couple of days. (You’d have received them sooner if my laptop hadn’t mysteriously erased a whole bunch of really important edits and additions to the policies. That I now have to try to recreate. While screaming !) Happy Sunday!

Happy Friday! Families enrolled for September; please watch for emails the last week of August! I’ll be sending out the policies and protocols related to Covid. (They are a work in progress, and will follow the directives and guidance from both the Ministry of Education and Halton Region Public Health.) There will be lots of info coming at you! In short though, rest assured that there are numerous points addressing the health and safety of our little Bronte Harbour family, including, but not limited to: strict daily screening, and enhanced cleaning and sanitizing protocols in place. At this time, children will not be required to wear masks at the nursery school, but staff will be. As always, I’m happy to answer questions as best I can via email. Enjoy the weekend! Mrs. T
