From the bottom of our hearts we thank you so much, these last few days have been emotional to see our guests for the last few times before a tough holiday season for so many. It crushes us that we cannot be here for your self-care when you all need it most. But we... will be here with open arms when it is time again. Our guests in this studio are more than clients, you are people we see everyday, or often, we hear your stories of the reasons you come here, and we are so thankful you trust us to help you on your journey. ! Our MVP of all wellness at Baxx gets its own day, and the original reason our studios were born - was out of love for this MVP of smart Sun Exposure! Here’s a few fast facts on Vitamin D:... Vitamin D is a a Hormone - not a Vitamin- that you’re kidneys make when exposed to UVB! Where we live here in Calgary, we are exposed to very little and almost no UVB from November to April - making your ability to Produce Vitamin D outside almost zero! Have you ever seen a Sad person in a Bronze Baxx? Vitamin D has a long list of benefits, but our favourite is that It’s nicknamed the happy hormone - you are always one Sunbed tan away from a better mood!
