Had a fantastic day in Fredericton today with mom! I got to show her my apartment (where she then worked while I went to the @headofficefred to FINALLY get a haircut) Then we went to Tokyo Ramen for supper and OH MY GOD! If you haven't been there you NEED to go! It is phenomenal!!! The service was absolutely incredible and the food was dream worthy. It is truly an cultural experience and I would recommend it to anyone! @ Fredericton, New Brunswick

I was doing a devotional this morning, when this scripture appeared. Christian or not, I think this a message we could all use in our lives, so I'll leave you all with this little reminder to be present on today and to focus on what's in your control

If anyone is curious about the red dresses hanging aroung the STU campus, it's part of the REDress installation by Jamie Black. They're hanging in honor and memory of the missing and murdered Canadian indigenous women. These crimes are still happening, and are there are all too many of us who are unaware, and even more who simply don't care. I'm proud to be part of a school that brings awareness to these national issues. ... #mmiw #awareness #protectourindigenouswomenansgirls See more

"To be a woman is to be warbound, k n o w i n g all odds are stacked against you. -& not giving up in spite of it." ~ Amanda Lovelace, 'the witch doesn't burn in this one' I was just doing some light reading after the insane day I had when I found this quote. I don't think an author has ever summarized #girlpower better than anyone. Amanda Lovelace is amazing for women empowerment and self care and I strongly recommend reading her entire "The ____ Doesn't ____ in This One" series.
