Brooklyn Marina seeks your creative minds. We need a logo and we ask for your ideas and designs. The logo should be simple (i.e., few colors, simple shapes, and a nautical/marine theme that does not favor sail over power boat and vice versa. The logo will be used for things from letterhead to t-shirts to flags. The attached photos show some logos for other Nova Scotia yacht clubs. Post your ideas here or email them to [email protected], and please share this invitation with others.
Wow that was some storm. The Docks received some of the worst damage to date. Hope everyone is safe and not too much shore damage.
Marina members The 2020 Brooklyn Marina year-end event was a great success! Thank you to everybody for attending, while keeping COVID-19 safety in mind. The parade of boats was impressive, the live music by Megan Chandler and Alex Wentzel relaxing, and the BBQ supper very tasty. A great way to celebrate probably the most interesting boating season ever!... A HUGE thank you goes out to the many volunteers who made the year-end celebration possible! It is always impressive seeing so many people working together, producing an event such as this. We look forward to seeing everybody in 2021 for the next boating season! And remember Stay Safe! Message from the Bluenose II " The Captain wanted me to pass along that they lit the fuse for the cannon but had a dud shot. He sends along his apologies. He wanted me to let you know that it is their honour to be there to help celebrate the marina's anniversary." Thank you for arranging for a crowd, the crew is heartened by the response in Liverpool." Thanks to the Bluenose II and crew for dropping by Liverpool Bay and adding to the 25 year Brooklyn Marina Anniversary. ... We so enjoyed watching you from boats kayaks to shore. Sorry to hear that the Captain tried to give us a 3 gun salute... only to get a dud. Grateful you tried. That is a tall ship to be proud of. Happy Sailing #bluenoseII See more

Change of time Bluenose II change of schedule Arriving Liverpool Bay at 11 am. Follow link below to watch where she is.... https://bluenose.novascotia.ca/location
Update on the Bluenose II coming to Liverpool Bay. Plan to get to the shore to see her do a sail by! "We are doing our best to visit as many ports around Nova Scotia as we can in our shortened season. Unfortunately, we are not able to dock anywhere except Lunenburg this year. The Captain is aware of the Marina's anniversary and hopes to push in past the breakwater in order to see the Yacht Club, depending on sailing conditions. They will be sailing past around 3pm on Wednesday. Keep an eye on our social media as we will announce the details there on the day before or day of the sail past." #BluenoseII
