Today is Transgender Day of Remembrance, a day to honour the memory of the transgender people whose lives have been lost in acts of anti-transgender violence. T...his annual observance is an important reminder that work is still needed to better protect and support transgender individuals in Canada. We understand that during these uncertain times, there are many questions about the next wave of reopening businesses across Canada. We are making a commitment to our clients to help prevent the spread of COVID-19 by taking part in a program called the POST Promise. What is the POST Promise? The POST Promise is a private sector-led initiative designed to help Canadians confidently and safely take the first steps back into public spaces and the workplace. It signifies a co...mmitment made by businesses to implement and practice five key steps to workplace safety, and we’re one of them. What are the key actions participating businesses commit to doing? Participating businesses voluntarily commit to following five key steps in their place of business which help prevent the spread of the COVID-19. These steps include: 1. Maintain physical distancing 2. Stay home if unwell 3. Wear a face covering when required. Wear a face covering when mandated or when safe physical distancing isn’t possible within your place of work, and consistently practice respiratory etiquette. Examples of respiratory etiquette include; cough or sneeze into the bend of your arm or use tissues and dispose of them safely. 4. Clean and disinfect regularly 5. Wash and sanitize hands When you see the POST Promise logo within our office, and other participating businesses across Canada, you can have confidence that we are taking the necessary steps to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. If you have any questions about the POST Promise, please visit postpromise.com for details. Thank you for your continued support.

Our psychologists and psychotherapists provide effective counselling treatment for depression. We offer virtual counselling sessions online as well as in-person at our Halton and Niagara offices. A powerful CBT tool that helps with depression is scheduling activities. However, not any kind of activity is helpful. Try these activities outlined below! P - Try to get some physical exercise. A - Plan activities that involve a sense of achievement. Learn a new skill. Take an onlin...e class. Start that project you've been planning. C - Set up a time for closeness with other people. E - Schedule activities that give you a sense of enjoyment and fun. See more
