On January 7, 2021 the Government of Alberta announced an extension of the current Covid-19 Restrictions and Guidelines until, at least, January 21, 2021. What does this mean for Massage? In addition to continuing to uphold strict sanitation and PPE measures, all Massage Therapists are required to have a Doctor's Note, or a referral from a regulated health professional for massage services on file for all clients.... This is a mandated requirement and we are only able to provide massage therapy during this time if this requirement is met. It will remain in effect until January 21st, 2021, or longer. Manual Osteopathic Therapy will continue to be unavailable until restrictions are lifted.
