Feeling sad. While we were in the house eating supper someone decided to rob my stand. I realize i take that chance with the "honour system". But this was almost a complete clean out. All of the following was taken...all my peppers, beans, peaches, blueberries, glads, baby carrots, red onions, and likely more that i havent noticed yet. This is not the first time, by far, that i have noticed theft (and actuall saw it happen from a distance, too far away to stop it!). But, ...this time was such a blow with the volume of produce gone. Its obvious that the person responsible has no consideration for other people hard work and their trust in people. I have had so much fun providing fresh produce from local farmers and ourselves for almost 10 years. But now i really need to evaluate this whole adventure. Regardless of my decision, I am SO THANKFUL for the honest people who have stopped in (many i have met and chatted with) and supported us. For now I will sell corn until the season is finished as i have a local farmer who has planted it for me and to be fair i will not leave him hanging. As for the rest of the variety of fruits and veggies, i need to think this though.

We are now open for the 2015 season! We have hanging baskets! Large 12 inch baskets, (can hold almost double the soil of a 10 inch basket!) quality soil and plants should mean a full season of enjoyment! New plants arriving weekly.
I have had a request for the hours we are open.....we are a seasonal operation. We open in the spring (this varies from year to year depending on weather!) which is usually end of May and we finish up re stocking at Thanksgiving. After that, we just stay open until we have a big freeze or sell out. During our open season you can stop by during any daylight hours. If there isnt anyone at the stand there is a locked box you put your money in. We are so grateful for our customers who honour our "honour system!" We also love to meet and serve customers but it isnt always possible! Hope you are all having a good winter and hope to see you all in the spring!
Who is hungry for sweet corn!!! The wait is almost over! We will have sweet corn starting tomorrow afternoon!!! New signs are made and ready to hang. As you can see from the other pictures the variety of produce we have is growing as more veggies come into season. Enjoy!!
