This photograph from our Archives features two women posing in front of an automobile. The women are identified as Nellie and Nina McKenzie, and the photograph is captioned, "The first Ford car". The first production Model T Ford was completed on October 1, 1908. It is thought that maybe the automobile in this photo was the McKenzie family's first Ford car - either way, they look happy enough to be standing out in the cold for the photo op!
