This is the true meaning of Christmas! Thank you to the wonderful community of Kitchener-Waterloo and awesome acts of kindness from people we are proud to know. This was posted in an article by 519 Community Collective, a group of local people helping others, by Julie Sawatzky: "You are not going to believe this. I went out to buy a ton of cute boxes, bags, wrap for baked goods for the community, and approx 50 gift bags, 20 bags of tissue, supplies etc for the next few da...ys of wrapping I have to do for seniors and kids. WELL, this man was in the line.... he was so patient. I said thank you at the end, and he wanted to know what it was about...when he found out he paid the $158.00 bill in full! I cannot believe it. I am still in shock! After this we headed down to pass out over 30 hot dinners, 200 sandwiches, and a van full of food, drinks, warm clothing, pasta salad, coffee etc. to folks on the streets and living in motel shelters! My heart is so full tonight! Our community is so amazing! Even strangers are helping in huge ways! HUGE thank you to our new friend Bihag Karnani!!!! You are an incredible human being! Thank you for meeting this need for our community! Your help will go a long way to provide a Merry Christmas for those in need!" My heart just grew and filled with so much Christmas Spirit! A big thank you to our awesome patient Bihag!
