A very good (humorous) flowchart to a simple question. Fire lanes exist for many reasons not the least of which of course is to provide clear access to places/structures. They also provide a means of immediate egress to those occupants of any evacuated building. Friendly reminder - Keep the lane clear.

Tomorrow marks the beginning of a new school year. Please be extra vigilant tomorrow morning on your commute to work as school busses all across the region will be dotting the roadway picking up our most precious cargo! Children don't think about safety - especially when they are so excited to see all of their friends. Their safety depends on your undivided attention. Leave a few min early in case you get stopped by a bus. DO NOT PASS a stopped school bus, EVER! The risk isn't worth it. Have a super year kids!

Our September Breakfast has been cancelled. Covid19 has been very hard on many local businesses. Perhaps rather than supporting us this year on breakfast day, you'd consider supporting your local restaurant instead - they sure would appreciate it. We hope to see you all for our Spring 2021 breakfast on June 5th - until then, be safe.

In the event of an emergency, could responding personnel find your address? Here is an excellent message about the 911 placards we see throughout rural Huron county. Thanks Chief Becker for this important safety message.
