Churches in China are facing growing persecution in the wake of the Covid lockdown. In Henan province authorities stated they would only allow churches to reope...n after lockdown was lifted if they could prove their loyalty to the Chinese Communist Party. In Yucheng, officials ordered preachers to give sermons that extolled President Xi Jinping for leading people in defeating the epidemic. A pastor lamented, I had to preach as the state required, otherwise the church would not have reopened. Pray that Chinese church leaders will be given wisdom from above to know how to respond to these predicaments. See more
