Virus Update: I'd like to make an announcement about the staus of my shop in lieu of this new situation. I'm not closing until ordered to do so. My work here is very low risk and I'm taking every precaution to ensure my own safety and that of my family. That being said, I also understand the impotance of all of our needs to have our prized instruments home with us to keep us company. If I need to be secluded indefinitely, I want my Strat on my lap to sing for me how I feel. ...I don't think I'm alone in that sentiment. If you can't come get your guitar, I'm willing to deliver it to you. If you need one healed, I'm willing to come get it. If you're reading this, likeley you've suppported my business. Now it's my turn to return the favour. Many of you have lost your jobs. I lost my night time job. I understand. We WILL get through this together. We're a community and we are not alone. Just a quick message to all my customers: I will be on a (much needed) holiday from Jan10 to the 27th. I'll be back in the shop on the 28th. All my guitars have been moved including the ones that have yet to be picked up. If you need to contact me, you can message me here but I'll be off the grid off and on throughout. This is one of my favourite things. Taking a neglected instrument and making it whole again. The difference is night and day. Now this guitar loves to be played.

So this Ibanez Premium Joe Satriani type guitar came in a couple days ago. Battered, bruised, dented frets and the feel that said get off me. The poor thing was made in Indonesia and I’m pretty sure whoever fretted it was going through a divorce. It was as inviting as a wasps nest. I pulled the frets, replaned the fingerboard and put in a proper set of jumbos. It just needed a little love. I’m posting this because of how grateful the guitar is now. It’s playing like a d...ream and can even make the Power Rangers theme sing like an angel. I’m happy to have met it and even happier that the owner will play better than ever with it. See more
