Hi Ann, Just wanted to pass a word along about what a great job your crew did in our "new" bathroom. They were both conscientious, hard workers. The most amazing thing of all is that Jamie solved a 30-year-old problem as to why we have constant iron staining to our fixtures, despite having had water softener(s) all this time. When I first built the house, a company installed a bypass so that untreated well water could go to the kitchen cold tap and the two outside taps. W...e had a number of visits from other companies trying to figure out the iron staining that continued, and the water never really felt softened. Jamie was the first to find that the bypass wasn't installed correctly at all, and that we were getting mixed treated and untreated water running throughout the house. After his repair, we can already see a major improvement in water quality, I am thrilled that I'm not going to be having to work so hard cleaning our brand new fixtures. Here is a tip from Bruce, remove your garden hose from your outdoor lawn service valve so the valve can properly drain, otherwise you may end up with some freeze damage....
