Actually skiing was pretty good at Sawmill today... once you got through the start area (which is crappy). Two-Way is not that good, so I started with Jackrabbit (which was good), crossed over to Paperclip at that little cutoff. The trails at the back were in good shape. Be careful, there still a few sticks and cones to avoid.

Good day to work at the Colpoys Ski Trail clean up. +2C when we arrived. It had been raining, but the sun came out just in time. 3 hours later we headed back to the cars. Tired, but it felt like we accomplished something. The trails will be ready for skiing as soon as the snow flies.

Our Return to Sport plan for Jackrabbits has been approved. If you are considering Jackrabbits for your child please read through the changes for this year. We will be skiing this season as soon as we get snow at both Sawmill & Colpoys. The cabin at Sawmill will be closed. Registration for Jackrabbits should start on Nov. 1. We will post it when the registration is open.

Sawmill Trail report. We have closed the shelter for public use. The trail is still open and we are continuing to groom when possible. The skate lanes were touched up this morning and the tracks are very then. Most of trail still has adequate snow for skiing although conditions change as the temperature varies.
