One of my favourite moments during YOUR wedding. One of my favourite moments during a wedding is hearing the speeches. Something I pride myself on when working with couples is really truly getting to know them and growing an honest friendship. Watching your loved when get up in front of all the guests to share stories of triumphs, or bringing up memories of the one time you almost got killed because It looked fun, or the sentimental moments of your childhood. Thats wh...en I feel like I get a real glance into each of you and that’s when I fall in love with you guys all over again. I cry like a baby behind the lens because it just makes me so damn happy to see the love and support you guys have grown with around you. So during our inquiry date, please know that when I say I am here for you, this is what I mean. I don’t just want to show up and shoot your wedding, handing the gallery over and never speak to you again. When I agree to take on a wedding it’s because I am truly invested in you and the thing that makes me the happiest is getting to be apart of your story for years after you say I DO. Some mornings are easier than others. Some mornings: ... You wake up and can’t bring yourself to change out of your pyjamas. You throw on the TV in hope to keep your little occupied long enough for you to convince yourself to start moving. You loose your cool because the whining and complain get to be too much. Some mornings: You’re up before the rest of the house and have breakfast on the table as everyone wakes. You wake up so inspired and with so much drive, you’re working before your coffee is even ready. You’re up and out the door before sun wakes. Something Ive learned over the last few years is how much my hormones control my mood and energy. In my younger years I would toxically label myself as lazy and unmotivated. I struggled with the changes from really high high to really low lows. I would let the negative mindset take over and became stuck in the feelings of not caring. One day I woke up and decided enough was enough, I started to track my emotions throughout the month and slowly pieced together the dramatic mood swings. SURPRISE, I could pin point every single one of my changes to my hormonal cycle. I know longer felt defeated by the misunderstanding of the mood swings and although I still struggle with these ups and downs, I am no longer frustrated with myself. I know longer label my Moods as anything more than feelings and emotions. After a few weeks of being on top of the world, these past few days Ive started to feel the slow down. Today I woke up and allowed myself to lay around and cuddle Brooklyn and take a little extra time to get moving. I didn’t punish myself by relaying back to the awful things I used to say. I had grace with myself, I loved myself and I understood where the shift in the emotions was coming from. So this is your reminder for the week, love yourself and your body. Allow yourself to take things slow and feel all the feels. Understand that more goes into you emotions, reactions and moods than we think. Then get you ass back up and take on the world, because I believe in you and I know you can do anything, even if it means doing it tomorrow. Love you, xx. B See more

DID YA KNOW?! Did you know I now offer complimentary engagement sessions with all my full wedding day collections?! There’s a number of reasons I chose to do this but here are the 3 main and most important ones! ONE: FOR YOU. ... Not everyone can say they’ve had professional photos done prior to their wedding. During our engagement session it will give you a chance to get used to being in front of the camera. You’ll gain confidence, loose up and will feel that much more relaxed on your big day! It also gives us extra time together to grow our friendship, because if we’re doing this thang, you’re stuck with me babe. TWO: FOR ME. Getting you two in front of my camera prior to your wedding allows me to observe how you interact with each other, which prompts you guys are most comfortable with and gives me a little more insight into your love. It is so important to me that I capture your relationship exactly how it would look to your friends or families. I want to be able to let your personality shine through and for the people who know you best to be able to hear you laugh while looking at your photos. Taking this extra time really allows me to get to know your love. THREE: THANK YOU. Booking your photographer for you wedding is a big investment. The fact that you chose me, out of the 100’s of incredibly talented photographers out there is the highest honour. I am so excited to serve you and to help you navigate this day. 5 FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT MY WEDDING PACKAGES: How long of coverage do we need? Honestly, it's preference! I suggest starting with all list of all the events you have planned for the day. From there, decide which events are most important for you to have documented! Afterwards, I'll help you put together a mock timeline around those events to give you a better idea of which collection is best suited for you! ... How many images do you deliver? You can expect a minimum of 50-100 images per hour of coverage on your wedding day! How long until we receive our gallery? After your session I will deliver sneak peeks to you within 48 hours. For engagement and couples sessions, your gallery will be sent to you in 4-6 weeks. Wedding galleries are delivered in 6- 8 weeks! Do you deliver RAWS? No! You are hiring me based on my knowledge and ability to document your day. Delivering RAW files would be like you ordering a cappuccino from your fav coffee shop and them handing you the beans and water to brew it yourself, the job just ain't done. ;) Can we meet before we decide? YES! In fact, I insist on it. Before we get down to the nitty gritty, Ima take you and your boo to sit down for a drink with me! There are 3 things you need to think of when picking your wedding photographer: Finding someone who's style you love, budgeting appropriately (this does not mean find the cheapest photographer) and LOVING THEM AS A PERSON.
