- THIS WEEKEND - INTRODUCTION TO COW WORK CLINIC - July 25th - 26th If you're looking for something fun to do with your horse this weekend Keith is hosting an Introduction To Cow Work Clinic!... Keith has spent years refining his cattle working skills working on ranches, teaching ranch roping, training young horses, and coaching people in the cutting horse pen. This clinic is ideal for those with colts and green horses looking to advance their skills to the next level. Supercharge your horses' training process in one weekend by working the flag, cattle, and if comfortable, bison! The clinic will start by working the flag, and building on the technique to efficiently stop and turn your horse. Next, the group will move onto working with cattle with the aim of understanding the flight zone and balance points on cattle and bison. Learn how to cut, drive, turn, and stop cattle. This clinic is not to be missed for those looking to create ranch horse and cow work skills! Spend the evening around the campfire enjoying the company of likeminded cowboys and cowgirls taking in the scenic mountain views! After completing this clinic horse and rider will have strengthened their skills in the herd and will have gained new confidence moving into their next adventure. Dry camping is available. Our facilities are equipped with a full washroom, 2-piece washroom, and kitchen for your convenience. Located outside Longview Alberta! Cost is $450 plus GST Photo by Rockin A Photography
