At 10:35 pm December 16 crews were called to a vehicle vs deer on Highway 3 just west of PA. Engine 1 and Rescue 1 responded with 8 members. Crews were on scene for about 45 min. Vehicle was towed from the scene. Thank you to our partners PA RCMP and Gateway North Towing for attending as well.
Remembrance Day will be different this year than past years. COVID 19 may have changed where or how we remember them, but we will never forget their sacrifice they gave allowing us the freedom we have today. With all the snow we have received over the weekend please check your furnace vent pipes if you have them to ensure they are clear of snow and able to vent properly.
At 8:30pm crews were called to a single vehicle roller over at the Honeymoon Rd and Pulp Haul intersection. Engine 1, Rescue 1 and 2 POV’s responded with 10 members. Crews were on scene for about an hour and a half.
At 9:29 this morning crews were called to structure fire in Madden Place. Engine 1, Engine 2 and Tanker 6 responded. Upon arrival it was found to be an electrical issue with the blower in the fireplace. Fire crews were not required and returned to the fire hall.

At 7:30pm crews were called to 2 vehicle MVC on Highway 2 North approx 1 mile North of White Star corner. Engine 1, Rescue 1, Rapid Response along with 2 POV’s and 9 members responded. Crews were on scene for about 1.5 hours.
With the bit of snow that came through today along with mild temperatures and blowing snow highways have have gotten slippery. Please drive according to road conditions in your travels. Stay safe.
Travel not recommended in many areas around Prince Albert. If you absolutely must be out on the road tonight ensure you drive with extreme caution and have your emergency kit in your vehicle. Stay safe out there.

At 1:13 crews were called to a single vehicle rollover on Highway 3 just west of PA. Engine 1 and Rescue 1 responded with 9 members. Crews were on scene for about an hour. Highways are quite icy, please travel with extreme caution if you have to be out on the roads today.
A snow fall warning has been issued for a large part of the province including our area. We will see significant snow today with a more powerful system coming through tomorrow. Please travel with caution and be aware of changing conditions. If you plan to travel ensure your have your emergency preparedness kit in your vehicle. Stay safe out there.
