This bear was so big it almost doesn’t fit the wall space!!! I love this bear... we sew the trim not glue so it will last a lifetime!

I have been an artist my entire life ... from a family of talented artists... I feel taxidermy is truly an art and should be respected as such (in my humble opinion ) I am so glad that I have kept a photo journal Of the art of taxidermy (thanks to an iPhone!) i just wish I had thought to keep photos of drawings I have done years ago... I’m glad that this piece was gifted to a family member so I was able to get a photo of it and thought I would share with everyone because like a drawing or painting taxidermy is another art form which includes contours , contrasts, colour and composition which I love!

Finished black bear rug ... thought we would go old school and add grey accent felt.. grey is in I love it!
