There is an emergency power outage beginning at 11:00 this morning and expected to last 2 hours. So I guess I'll have to take an extra long lunch today..lol

PLEASE SHARE: I know this might be a bit of a long winded post but PLEASE read to the end. As most of you all know I've been a substitute bus driver for the past 3 years. Over that time there has only been a handful of days I was not driving a bus and cutting hair in the shop. This year I was lucky enough to land a full time run with the bus. In years past I would normally have no problem getting into the shop by 9:00am, then I would usually leave around 2:30 and come back ab...out 4:30 then work till 5:00 or so. However, this year with all the new protocols and reduction of student transfers, as well as the distance of my new run, I will have too make a few changes to my hours at the shop. I am not exactly sure what changes I will need to make until I've been driving this run for a week or so. I hope to be in the shop shortly after 9:00 in the morning and I will have to leave about 2:20 in the afternoon. However I'm just not sure about the return time. I hope to be back around 5:00 and work for a while when I return. I just ask for everyone's patience and understanding while I work this out into some kind of reliable schedule over the next week or two. Please rest assured, I will be in the shop in the morning till early afternoon for sure, right now I can only give an approximate time of 9:20 for the start of the day till 2:20 Tues.-Thurs, 9:20-2:20 and 5-7 Friday. Sat 9:00 -12:00 with a possible extension of hours on Sat in the near future. I ask that you all bear with me as I sort this all out. I thank you all in advance for your patience and understanding. I look forward to seeing all my clients, whom I like to think of as friends, with new modified hours of operation. Well it was a crazy busy few weeks since we were allowed to reopen on May 22. I would like to thank you all for your support and patience during that unprecedented time. For the last week the pace seems to have come back to normal, so I will no longer be employing the number/appointment system that I had been using. So it will be back to normal walk-ins, first come first serve method. Again I would like to thank all my loyal customers (friends) for your continued support.

Today is the day we've been waiting for. I'm sure it will be the busiest day ever. I am looking forward to seeing all my loyal clients who I like to think of as friends. Please be patient and understanding as we adapt to the new protocols we now have to follow. I know it will be challenging and frustrating at first but I'm sure it will get better as time goes on. I just ask for your understanding as we move forward. Thank you and I look forward to seeing you all soon. Take care!

Well it's gonna be nice to get back into the shop this Friday, May 22nd. Due to new COVID-19 protocols I will need to change how operations go for a little bit. I will continue to do walk-ins (no appointments) However, with the anticipated high demand for services, I will be implementing a number system. When you come to the shop, you will take a number and this keeps your spot in the "line" This allows you to leave and return latter without loosing your spot. I will have a w...hite board in the window with the current client's number on it. Please also note that I will continue to be a cash only operation. I will be following the guidelines set out by the PEI Barber's association approved by the CPHO. As such I will require time between clients to carry out the enhanced cleaning/disinfection. I ask for your patience and understanding during this time and I hope all will be back to normal soon. Can't wait to see all my loyal customers who I like to think of as friends. Hey every one! It looks like May 22 is the day we can re-open our shops. I will have to get more details as to any extra measures that need to be taken, but I'm sure looking forward to getting back in the shop and seeing all of my loyal clients who I like to think of as friends.
