#MagnetMondays On July 25th 2020, HeadPinz Naples in Florida was the host of the the first tournament hold on free-fall pinsetters and #EDGEString pinsetters by QubicaAMF Worldwide. Among all the participants, many pro bowlers could be found: Walter Ray Williams Jr., Norm Duke, Amleto Monacelli, Jason Couch, Matt McNeil, Verity Crawley and Ashley Galante. In one of her stories, Verity posted some eloquent numbers showing the difference in averages between the two pinsetters.... We could read this: After 192 games, averages on the EDGEString were higher by 1.8 pin (203.45 vs. 201.65). After 671 games, the difference went down to 1.33 (204.76 vs. 203.43). From the eyes of an entrepreneur, the EDGEString pinsetters have all the tools to be ensure the financial success of a centre: the maintenance and part costs decrease tremendously as well as the electricity bill. Ce fut malheureusement mon seul "Provincial" chez les juniors. Pour ceux qui me connaissent, vous comprenez mieux maintenant d'où viennent toutes ces "revs" que j'ai aujourd'hui!... 27 années ont passé. At the 1st Youth Charoule Provincials in Sept-Îles in 1994, I won the gold in singles (573) and doubles in the U11. I represented the Beauce/Québec/Rivière-du-Loup region. Unfortunately, this is the only youth provincials in which I competed. For those who know me, now you understand why I have so much revs today! 27 years have passed. I received a package in the mail yesterday. Very surprised to see what was inside... Where have you been all these years!? Apparently, this was supposed to be... given to me back when I bowled for Wichita State Shocker Bowling for shooting the National High Series of 792 in the 05-06 season. I am glad this baby made it safe and sound all the way home to Montreal. Thank you Georgia Wiggins Drewes, I really appreciate it! A new addition to my small collection. // J'ai reçu un colis par la poste hier. Très surprise de voir ce qu'il y avait à l'intérieur... Où étais-tu toutes ces années !? Apparemment, cela devait m'être donné lorsque j'ai joué au collège pour Wichita State Shockers après avoir jouer la plus haute série Nationale de 792 lors de la saison 05-06. Je suis bien contente que ce magnifique trophée se soit rendu sain et sauf jusqu'à Montréal. Merci Georgia Wiggins Drewes, je l'apprécie vraiment! Un nouvel ajout à ma petite collection.

#LundisMagnet Le 25 juillet 2020, le centre HeadPinz Naples en Floride a présenté le premier tournoi se jouant sur des planteurs traditionnels et les planteurs à cordes #EDGEString de QubicaAMF Worldwide. En plus des nombreux amateurs, plusieurs vedettes prirent part à ce tournoi : Walter Ray Williams Jr., Norm Duke, Amleto Monacelli, Jason Couch, Matt McNeil Verity Crawley et Ashley Galante pour ne nommer que ceux-ci. Dans une story, Verity présenta quelques chiffres éloque...nts quant aux différences entre les planteurs traditionnels et les EDGEString. Petite anecdote : En mai 2018, deux mois avant mon embauche, j’avais réussi à me joindre à Mark Buffa pour assurer la webdiffusion des Essais canadiens de la #FCDQ à Mississauga. J’ai terminé d’enseigner le jeudi à 16h00 et j’ai embarqué dans mon auto pour arriver à l’hôtel vers 01h00. Six heures plus tard, nous préparions notre studio afin d’être prêt pour la description. Le mardi, à 04h30, j’étais dans mon auto pour retourner directement à l’école afin d’enseigner à 13h00... Quelle aventure!!! Accros vous dites?! #LesExpertsDesQuilles #LaVoixDesQuilles - #MagnetMondays Way before I joined #BuffaBowling, my dedication to the company was undeniable. Little story: In May 2018, two months before I was hired, I found some time to join Mark in Mississauga to livestream the Canadian Team Trials. I finished teaching at 4pm, jumped in my car and got to the hotel around 1am. Six hours later, I was at the centre helping Mark to prepare the booth and be ready to call the action. Then, on Tuesday, I jumped back in my car around 4:30am and drove straight to Lévis because I would teach at 1pm. Wow! What an adventure!! #TheBowlingExperts #TheVoiceOfBowling #CTF
