Buffalo Point First Nation Protest

House inspection? Pfft.. who enters someone’s house without permission or notifying them. They want to demolish a band member’s house and rebuild! But for who? Where is this paperwork stating that band houses will be built for band members?!? It’s just another way to get rid of the Anishinaabe People off this land... THIS IS TREATY 3 TERRITORY! This land belongs to US. ... We’re not letting anyone build or buy leases in our community anymore.

we never gave INAC C&C permission to lease our lands... Invalid leases where is the money going to? And to who? Do band members benefit from land leases? No! Do we get band houses build from the income? No! Is the money put in a trust fund? Noooooooo..... so do us a favour and build your dream cottages some where else! Don’t live here

So I wonder what so called chief and council will be giving to the members this year for Christmas?? oh yes split a bag of potatoes along with oranges, few cans of this and that etc etc! Covid relief fund was sent to every reserve but how funny that the members of Buffalo didn't get any part of that!!! $900 per person. Good job John thunder, yet an idiot another year!!
