PLANNED SHUTDOWNS Power outages of the Buffalo Pound Water Treatment Plant are tentatively scheduled for: Friday, April 24, 2020 from approximately 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM. ... There will be no production of water during this outage. However, Regina will be pressurizing their line back to the Plant. Customers on the Regina line will have a limited supply of water depending on usage. This shutdown is required to accommodate capital work projects at the Plant.

However, Regina will be pressurizing their line back to the Plant. Sask Water/Provincial Park may receive water periodically during the outages as power permits.... An outage of the BP water treatment plant is tentatively scheduled for Tuesday, November 13, 2018 from approximately 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. There will be no production of water during this outage, however Regina will be pressurizing their line back to the plant. SaskWater and Moose Jaw pumps will be kept operational by water from the CW, operating conditions permitting.... The shutdown is required to accommodate plant electrical improvements. Buffalo Pound Water won the taste test competition for the second time at the Western Canada Water and Wastewater Association Annual Conference in Saskatoon. BPW will be allowed to submit a sample to the American Waterworks Association Annual Conference next year and complete with all the Plants across North America. BPW competed against 10 other facilities.
