Just heard from Planning & development... My rooftop patio has to go As well as my front garage among other things.

City Planning & Development say, "The development permit process is the means to get to a decision. The review/feedback stage from the community and councilors office takes place during the development permit application. No decisions can be made until a permit has been applied for. I will be discussing your proposal with the Development Authority in depth and then get back to you as soon as possible. If you do not agree with the Authority you may take a refusal and then app...eal the decision with the Subdivision and Development Appeal Board. We’ll discuss this further once the Detailed Review is sent out." I was very careful to be "within" the bylaws when i did my build with my designer. Very frustrated now.

Just heard from Planning & Development they tell me, "You can expect a Detailed Review this week. It’s been extremely busy and will do my best to get it to you as quickly as possible. Changes to the proposed development will be required." Looks like my build is going to be delayed again.
