We ended up having to open up more of the wall than what was intended due to how everything was installed previously. But everything is now moved around, insulation, poly and drywall put back as well as the first coat of mud already on the wall. Through the years of building, going through the rank of labourer to site supervisor I have used many different floor coverings. Except for one I have previously used, which is hard to come by because there is only one supplier that I know of, I haven't liked any them. They are either a pain in the butt to lay down, or they don't stand up to the day to day of a construction site. I was doing some work lately for @connectedtradeservices and he had this Titan floor protection s...o I figured I would give it a try. So far I like it. I wouldn't trust it to stand up to high impact situations but for covering floors so they don't get scratched or dirty this works great. Thought I would get an early start on the morning with this post. Some people are surprised when I only show up with my SUV. This is strictly a work vehicle for me, I haven't had the back seats up since I bought it. I essentially have a 6' enclosed truck bed. Here is another job we did for Yard Worx Landscape Inc. The frame for this deck was already built, we just had to install the composite boarding on top. One of the issues I know everyone is facing this year is shortages on materials. This is the same story with the facia boards that will be going on the edges. Once they arrive we will be installing them as well.

We were able to finish up this deck extension and hot tub pad. The homeowner had also asked for us to replace the old deck boards on the existing portion as well as add a skirting around the entire project. The railing portion ends at the pad so the homeowner will be able to slide right into the tub that will be even with the height of the deck.

Figured I would get back to posting again as I have been to preoccupied with work the last week that I never got around to it. We are working on a deck extension with patio stone slab for a hot tub to sit on. Here are the before pictures, after pictures to follow later this week.

Here is what we were able to accomplish day 1 of the newest deck build for Yard Worx Landscape Inc.. We weren't initially supposed to be putting a railing on this as the customer wanted to wait until it was framed to see what the grade difference would be. We were then able to make the stairs and railing work for the customer by making it safe but still feel open. Look at this, 2 posts in a row. Here is a wood retaining wall we built for Yard Worx Landscape Inc. They had excavated the area for us, to the point where all we had to do was level out the bottom row and build away. We had to get a little creative with building the stairs, but in the end the customer is super happy with how it turned out. Its been a couple days since I have posted again so I figured I would share another job we did lately. For this one here we were sub-contracted by Yard Worx Landscape Inc. to put stone over the existing porch. The old concrete porch was in rough condition and this stone is thinner than interlock but with the same look. Its intention is to be glued or mortared on top of the existing porch. Brand new look with minimal labour.
