Happy #tbt from your favourite historic building on campus! We’re throwing it back a few decades this week to The Bullring as a bar. Just 5 years after the University of Guelph was established, The Bullring opened as a campus pub in 1971. Throughout the ‘70s, ‘80s, and ‘90s, The Bullring was THE place to be on a Saturday night, especially between 1:45 and 4:30 am for Bullring All-Nighters! If anyone has photos of themselves or their parents enjoying The Bullring during our days as a pub, feel free to send them our way and share their stories!

Today's #tbt takes us back to campus in 1924, 40 years before the establishment of the University as we know it today. The Bullring definitely didn't sell Chicken Tikka back then!

Whether your holiday season is coming to an end or just beginning, we’d like to wish all staff, students, and members of our community a happy holiday! The Bullring will close tonight at 4pm and reopen again at 10am on January 11th, 2021. It has been a trying year for many businesses, and we were not spared from that. We are beyond grateful to all of the customers who have been able to make it in, and equally grateful to those who support us from afar through social media. We look forward to the new year and all the good it will bring stay safe and healthy everyone

#thenandnow 1966 vs 2020! This week, we are unfortunately losing one of the big trees on the patio. Elmy is over 100 years old, and grew to be just over 100 feet tall in the first photo, he’s the tree right in the middle. Hint: count the windows! He currently still blocks that second window from the left

Welcome back 2021! The Bullring will be opening Monday, January 11th, and we’ll be here Monday-Friday from 10am-4pm. For now, we will only be able to provide takeout. Come by and order off the menu, or visit the website at the link in our bio to order ahead through email or phone! We will also provide a Grab N’ Go option from our fridge that includes your favourite homemade meals packaged for you to heat and eat at home ... See you soon everybody!

A reminder to all STAFF on campus that while we may close for walk-in orders at 4, we can prepare pick-up orders until 4:30! Whether you’re working in the UC or at the AC, call or email us throughout the day to place an order. This week’s Livestock From The Bullring performance will be The Lifers! This experimental folk group features the beautiful voices of the local Cazzola sisters. The themes of home, family, and community provide the perfect relaxing break from the exam studying. Join us this Thursday via Twitch with @thelifers

Exams are upon us! If you’re making your way to campus for a study session, remember that The Bullring is open Monday to Friday from 10-4 through the exam season we wish everyone the best of luck with their exams and projects, we know you can do it!

The newest addition to our Bullring-To-Go menu is our Sweet Potato Lentil Curry! This sweet and savoury vegan dish is a big time staff favourite, and now it can be your new favourite submit your orders before 11am for same day pickup at thebullring.scvr.co

A reminder to place your Bullring-To-Go orders this week! Along with our famous Chicken Tikka and Chana Masala, your dinner box can also include our Sweet Potato & Lentil curry (which is a big staff favourite) we are also starting this week out with a change in hours, extending closing time until 4pm! Drop by between 10am and 4pm for your favourite dishes served hot, or order ahead for dinner at home with our dinner boxes

Staring Monday, our hours of operation will be extended to 10am-4pm! For anyone on campus for those afternoon study sessions, you know the place to come for a coffee and some good eats

A reminder to all of our customers that we have our own Bullring exclusive coffee stamp card, and Thursday is double stamp day Grab a coffee or tea for you and a friend and you’ll have already filled half a stamp card! Nothing goes better with a hot drink than a butter tart, so come treat yourself before they’re all sold out

The Bullring Bowl A new favourite for our gluten free and vegan friends, this sweet potato based bowl is served over rice, with black beans, cucumber, cabbage and carrot, sunflower seeds, and nutritional yeast. A lemon-garlic tahini dressing pulls the flavours together for a beautiful, delicious, and healthy lunch
