Had a great time and a great meal at Globally Local for lunch. Soft launch was amazing. Great people, great food. I had the gyro, famous fries and the milkshake which I was too eager to get a picture of but it was all so good! I love their ordering platform where you don’t have to talk to people and you just use the iPad. Please see them this week as they open Thursday at 5! Also they have soft serve too. So I know that 2020 has been an insane year so far to say the least. Remember we thought we would be gearing up for world war 3? It literally seems like years ago. If you think I won’t lose customers over my new decal on my door, you’d be mistaken. Not even up for 24 hours and someone had opposition to my stance. Not to give this person attention but he said he would take his business somewhere more accepting of his OWN people. I’m leaving out the All Lives Matter played out bullshit he was spouting and got into his car big mad. I have one thing to tell people if you have a problem with the Black Lives Matter movement, Go Fuck Yourse...lves. And I say that with the most honesty and integrity. I encourage any and all racists that aren’t willing to be a reasonable person and be educated as why this matters to please, PLEASE, visit Little Caesars because just like their pizza, you have no taste either. To those people who have changed their ways, thank you. Believe it or not, you can learn facts that can change your perception of what you believe. And with that information you can do better for yourself and your community. How May I do better for myself in that way? You ask. Well you won’t be a hateful person which is great for you mentally and people like myself won’t want to lob bricks at you, physically that would benefit you also. Don’t be afraid to change your point of view no matter your age, race , sex, sexual preference, whatever thing that makes you feel like you. I don’t even know where to start. This picture was taken 56 years ago. These two men who held very different ideology fighting inequality in the black community of the USA. We come to 56 years later, and some of same issues haven’t been resolved. These two men were murdered fighting for their causes. They criticized each other’s methods but they fought for a common goal. While Dr. King held peaceful protests and believed words worked best, Malcom X held the belief that freedo...m would never be given so it had to be taken. Let’s forward to the last week. No matter how things are spun, underlying health issues, resisting, what have you. I’m not here to debate. One less person is on the planet because of another person actions. Actions are being taken in response to this, and I stand with the BLM movement. Yes all lives matter, white black, dog, sheep, llamas, every living being. But right now a specific group needs our attention and support. Peaceful protests, kneeling, have been happening for years and years and nothing has been resolved. A revolution is happening here. Don’t forget that a revolution is the reason the USA exists as a country for similar reasons. A people believed they were not being reasonably represented and oppressed by a system that was unfair to them, so they fought back. I will continue to stand with BLM as a person that grew up with a mixed family, black friends, and living in black culture. I have been called the Racist terms in relation to the people I associated with, my friends and family. I’ve seen and been involved in racism first handedly, being pulled over walking down the streets with my friends because of their colour, pulled out of cars because of their colour and I was asked by police why I was hanging out with these people. Being shouted at by strangers, complained about at school calling me and my group of friends unspeakable names while talking to a person in power, and yet they were not scolded for their use of hate speech. For these and so many reasons more I will stand with the BLM Movement. If you don’t like that, hit the unfollow button because if any of you know me, I don’t give a fuck. #JusticeForGeorge
