And finally, our one and only ABBY NOWAKOWSKI! @poorthingdesigns @otherwisestudios Abby Nowakowski... Abby Nowakowski is a guelph-based interdisciplinary artist using labour, printmaking, illustration and installation to speak about the psychological process of thought suppression. Abby’s practice taps into the human tendencies of failure and awkwardness, with one foot in the realm of happy go-lucky cartoons and another facing her own experience with tough subject matters such as sexual violence and shame. UP NEXT! Maeve Hind!! @mjh_art_ Maeve Hind is a multi-disciplinary artist living in Guelph. She is studying Studio Art and Psychology at the University of Guelph with an interest in art therapy. She explores understanding anxieties, emotions, and childhood upbringing. She works primarily in drawing (digitally and non-digitally), video, and painting.

NEXT ON OUR LIVE ARTIST LINE UP, WEVE GOT CHARITY CRUZ! @chrty.mbd.crz Charity Cruz is a non-binary 1.5 generation Filipinx immigrant that is currently studying Plants Sciences at the University of Guelph. They get excited about synthesizing their never-ending learning of plants with creations of art and music. Their work primarily investigates and ventures through processes found in nature alongside their complex cultural identity and the process of decolonization. These are often expressed as superfluous abstract shapes in circumfluent environments, often presented with acrylic, watercolour paints, and found objects.
