Sitting in the disbelief, grief, privilege and immense vastness of our past year in this new reality of a global pandemic. This past year, we have: Managed to continue supporting families through their birthing and postpartum journeys (like Woods pictured above, nestled into Mama mere hours after birth). Stayed connected with our monthly (weekly in the early days) mentor meetings over Zoom. Witnessed families navigate not being seen in their pregnancies/postpartums, a...nd finding creative work-arounds to the isolation that was brought to their new realities. Gotten really comfy with snuggling babies and donning masks to keep our families and ourselves healthy and safe. Found new ways to keep connected to our bigger childbearing communities and all of the amazing offerings they have brought forth in this past year! As we sit in all that comes up through honouring this passage (whizzing by!) of time we thank YOU, our dear families for allowing us into your bubbles and homes to care for you in these tender and unknown times. Coming from two big families, we both knew that helping support growing families was where we wanted to focus our practice.We were both blown away after taking our first pregnancy and pediatrics course in chiropractic college, and have since continued to study and learn more and more about pregnancy, the birthing process, and ...postpartum. They offer chiropractic care to all walks of life, young and old. With their passion focused towards families and the pre/post natal community, much of their care revolves around that. Educating and empowering individuals wherever they are in their health journey is something they strive towards.
