I haven’t been as active here the last week or so. Here’s the thing during some of the hardest time this year I was reminded how lucky and blessed I am. As our world prepares to change, once again, I have wanted to be as present for these people as I can.... In March the idea of balancing a toddler, an infant and a husband working from home in addition to this beautiful business was terrifying, at times trying and definitely a challenge. Now, as I prepare for my toddler to go back to daycare, I am feeling excitement (for her to enjoy her time there and for me to have a break), terrified (for all that remains unknown) and sad (that I will be without her 2 days a week) With that said, I am here, I will always be here. I just will be quiet for a little while longer. Being present when I am physically present is my priority right now. Loving myself first is loving them best! How do you practice being present? One big piece of my self care is reading. I read every night before bed! That unplugged time at the end of my day gives me an opportunity to let go of the events of that day and just be present in something that brings me joy! It’s also something just for me!
