Burin Feasibility Process 01.11.2021

All posts have been read and copies have been made for our consideration.All comments and suggestions will be taken into account during the drafting of our Report and Recommendations to the Minister for his consideration. For those of you with questions about taxes and services, these matters will be addressed in our Draft Report which will be made available to the public on the Town of Burin's Website. We will be providing everyone with approximately ten (10) days to review the Draft Report and make comments. We will also be providing the date of the next Public Meeting when the draft Report will be presented when it is posted on the Town's Website. All interested individuals will also have an opportunity to make comments during the Public Meeting. In the meantime if you have any questions or concerns please advise us ASAP/

Burin Feasibility Process 21.10.2021

Comments on the Burin Feasibiltiy Process have not been received from the number of people we had anticipated would have taken the opportunity to share their views on the Burin's proposed boundary expansion. As noted in our previous posting the drafting of our Report and recommendations to the Minister has commenced and the time is growing short for you to have your say. Please forward your comments, views and suggestions ASAP.

Burin Feasibility Process 02.10.2021

We have received some comments from residents of Burin and the Tides Brook - Golden Sands area. We are commencing drafting the Feasibility Report and would like to hear from more residents. We can take into account your support or objections to the proposed expansion if we do not hear from you. Please take the time to provide us with your comments ASAP.

Burin Feasibility Process 13.09.2021

The First Public Meeting of the Burin Feasibility Process was held on January 17, 2017. A crowd of approximately eighty (80) individuals attended the meeting. Questions on the process were raised. Those attending were encouraged to provide information on the current services being provided to Burin and to the proposed expansion area. Those attending and all others interested in this process were encouraged to provide any and all information on this proposal. Recommendations to be put forward to the Minister of Municipal Affairs and Environment will take into account all information provided by the residents of Burin and the proposed expansion area.
