Sunday morning should be a beautiful practice in the park - come on out! What do we do in the COVID-era, anyway, you ask? We're conservative and maintain distance for safety. One to two stick lengths distance. And wear masks. Even outdoors.... The training includes: - Warm ups - Boxing drills - Aikido striking and entry drills and "shadow" technique - Jo (short staff) training, solo and paired, mostly based on Chiba-sensei's curriculum - Bokken (wooden sword) training, solo and paired, mostly based on Suio-ryu Kobudo forms See you there!

It'll be chilly Sunday morning, so bundle up and we'll do lots of warm ups before we start swinging our bokken and jo!

During COVID, Burloak Aikikai has stayed strong and kept practicing: Wednesday mornings have been via Zoom and Sunday mornings are live (w. masks and social distancing) in a park. Usually about half a dozen of us show up for each and it is still the best way to start your day!
