All of sudden the Fall season is arriving in Vancouver as well as the smoky air from the fires down south. The temperature has dropped, the sun is partly obscured, and the tree leaves are falling or turning red and yellow. With the virus still with us, please be careful my friends! Let’s stay put with long-term view, practicing safe protocols to protect the whole community. Good news: New Westminister Farmers Market will be extended to end of October. We will be there on Se...p 17, Oct 1, Oct 15, Oct 29, 2020 from 2 - 7pm. We will continue to provide you with our wonderful and healthy microgreens and also offer high quality seeds if you prefer to grow your own.

Air, clean air, that is what we really need at this time. The extra particles and toxins in the bad air acts as oxidative stress in our upper airway. Hope is that rains are coming - thanks God for this protection. Now we need to work on recovery: recover from the damages on the environment, pier park, and our body. ... This paper points out: the enzymes in broccoli (/ radish) sprouts abrogates oxidative stress through the scavenging of reactive oxygen species and metabolism of reactive chemicals which have invaded into our airway in these days. Hi everyone, probably you all have heard the big fire at New Westminister Pier Park another day. This fire has created very bad air condition in beautiful New Westminister. Due to the toxic air, we are informed that the Farm Market is cancelled, but we have grown these sample sized microgreen bowls already. If you’d like, please come to our greenhouse at 101-5777 Beresford St, Burnaby to pick it up for free. First come first serve. We will be open from 8am - 6pm on Sep 17th ...for you.
