We hold in our hearts the families, relatives and communities of the 215 children from the Tk’emlúps te Secwepemc First Nation and so many more who were taken and sent to a residential school and never came home.

Come and share time with Luna Aixin (Pronouns: They/Them), a community planner who is queer, disabled, neurodiverse and multiracial and lives with Complex-PTSD, in a conversational session on Anti-Asian racism. They will also share stories of their experiences living in North Burnaby as an immigrant from Southeast Asia, how they are navigating internalized anti-Asian racism through ancestral healing and ways they are developing anti-racist relationships with these lands. They live, work and study on the traditional, ancestral, and unseeded territory of the xmkwym (Musqueam), Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish), and Slílwta/Selilwitulh (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations.
