Well it was a bitter sweet day today! Today was the last day in my boat for the season but we went out with a bang. I was with Keenan Muir for his 4 and last trip of the year. We went 1 for 2 in 2 hours of fishing before the reels started to freeze up and so did our hands. Keenan got to be my net man for the 3rd time this year and got to see the biggest fish he has seen in real life. This year had its ups and downs for sure with covid, the fish not cooperating and motor trou...bles, but we made it happen. I was blessed with my personal best fish this year on a solo trip. I lost more fish then I would care to count with a few of them being fish that would definitely been in contention for my personal best. These fish will push you to your limits mentally and physically, chasing them for hours or days on end looking for that one good bite that makes it all worth it. Confidence is key while fishing for musky, the right gear is a major confidence booster known that when that bite comes you are prepared for it. I want to thank Shane Mcpeak and Jamie Erwin from Pro Advantage Sports And Hobbies for supporting me this year with all my fishing needs. I want to thank the guys from Shimano Canada Ltd for the tranx reels and skixX rods as well as their amazing service. I want to thank John Anderson from The Ottawa River Musky Factory for the mid season confidence boost he gave me to help me push through the season.
