Do you want to shake things up for dinner? Swing by the Rock Bay Market and check out their Hake & Bake! Hake & Bake Croquettes are crispy on the outside and smooth and rich on the inside. This kit includes four lovingly made hake & potato croquettes, served with house-made ketchup and smoked paprika & cippolini onion aioli. A delicious comfort food, these are perfect as an appetizer or a side dish. $1 from every croquette sale goes towards the Burnside Gorge Community Ass...ociation. Supporting Local Never Tasted So Good Did you know? Hake is a sustainable fish that is local to British Columbia and found in abundance. A member of the cod family, hake is characterized by its white colour, mild taste, soft texture and small flake. This hake is sourced from resident Port Alberni fisherman Soren Hanson, who uses live tanks to bring his catch back to shore to ensure the freshest possible seafood. Hanson caught this batch of hake in the Alberni Inlet along the west coast of Vancouver Island. https://rockbaymarket.ca/

We want to keep everyone up to date on changes here. Due to the new orders from Dr. Bonnie Henry masks are now required when visiting or attending programs at the Centre. We have also had to make changes to some of our programs. In the event of cancellations, those registered will be contacted. Please feel free to call the Centre to check on the status of any programming. We greatly appreciate everyone's support and willingness to help keep each other safe!

The City is collecting input on the next phase of planned routes in the City's All Ages and Abilities Cycling Network. Have your say on route selection for a new cycling route in the Jubilee neighbourhood and provide feedback on the designs for the Oaklands Connector, Fernwood Connector, and Fort Street Central routes. To learn more about the projects and provide input on how the design can best met your needs as a resident, commuter, or business, while improving road safety for all road users, take part in the online engagement activities at engage.victoria.ca/aaa-cycling-network. The period for public input closes November 30, 2020. Please contact [email protected] if you have any questions.
