I think this little plaque belongs in the possession of someone who is struggling. Its up for grabs

A fellow asked me to make a sign for his sons room and it had to be semi truck theme. So this what i came up with

Made this sign for an ardent fisherman. It is on a slab of cedar. The letters are carved and the fish is woodburned. I torched it a bit to bring up the grain and then sprayed it with a couple of coats of gloss urethane.

I was given an oak insert from an elderly couples diningroom table and they told to make good use of it. Well i put it in my shop because i didnt know what i could make of this fine piece of oak. Then this summer both passed on, so i thought i could make a charcouterie board with their name on it and the elderly gentlemans favorite saying and today I will be giving it to their son and his family. Overall measurement is 14x26

Found an old slab of cedar and thot i wud have some fun carving this sign. Give me a thumbs up if you like it

Made this little plaque 4x5 for our new great granddaughter

I asked my 10 yr old grandson if he would like to carve a sign. He chose the grinch. GPA helped him with the carving - then we sprayed the blk and he sanded it off. I was under the impression that he was going to paint it so i put a couple sealer coats on it. He changed his mind and used pencil crayons. The pencil crayons didnt really cover the wood but he was happy with his efforts for his first sign. As time goes on he will do better

A friend asked me to do a portrait of his sons dog. This is what i came up with

Had some spare time the other night so wood burned an owl - I gave it to a lady for her birthday

This slab of cedar is 18x60. Letters are abt 6 high. The slab was sanded and then i used my angle grinder with a wire wheel to raise the grain and then applied 5 coats of helsman gloss urethane to each side

Made this plaque for our 7 month old great grandson who returned back to a loving Heavenly Father

A friend of mine is an Elvis impersonator and he is moving out of town. As a parting gift i carved this Elvis song for him

A friend of mine retired and decided to leave chilliwack and move back east. I made this police plaque with the thin blue line as a parting gift.

Made this sign for a family - the request was for a nautical style sign. Added the anchor and the edging top and bottom to resemble a rope - the anchor is woodburned. 11x23

A late wedding gift for a great lady

My version of police as our true superheroes. I left a space at the top for a blue ribbon, a shoulder patch or a name. Carved on 8x13 poplar and sealed with rustoleum clear gloss

Dedicated to all nurses not only during this covid 19 pandemic but to all nurses on a daily basis. They are our real superheroes. This plaque is destined for the nursing staff on 4N chilliwack general hospital who helped my wife through three major surgeries on her hip. Their hard work and dedication to their patients was very much appreciated.

Need i say anymore. Our Canadian leader doesnt feel the rules apply to him

Now that my wife is out of the hospital and navigating with a walker i thought i wud make this sign to be attached to her walker

My wife is still in the hospital recovering from two hip surgeries the last one being a full hip replacement. So in the little spare time i have had i wood burned this sign for 15 yr old boy. His favorite animal is an eagle. I was going to have my wife do the coloring but i will have to wait a few more weeks

Well i think Sharon shd be known as the bionic lady. The operation went well according the surgical staff. I was with her for a few minutes and she was looking good and in good spirits. Thanks for all the positive comments. Much appreciated
