Congratulations to Charlotte, or as we most often call her, Abuela!! We’re extremely proud to share this as Charlotte Cotnam- Isea plays an enormous role at our Bush Garden. From inspiration, to planning and carrying out any task under the sun. She is nearly as excellent of a gardener as she is an educator.

First Bush Garden offspring just hatched we should have lots of newly laying chickens and ducks starting in late spring! Also, why did no one tell me how easy chickens are to hatch before i got obsessed with ducklings???

Although I had wanted to do a large garden for years, when the idea surfaced earlier this year, we had no water, no gear, and the seedlings I had started were only enough to be for my personal garden; I thought my family was crazy! But we embarked on this journey and pulled off a very successful garden, even adding two dozen heartbeats to our farm this summer. We are so thankful for each of our supporters- whether it was physical help, a share, a purchase, etc..we couldn’t... have done it without you!
