A new grant program was introduced today by Minister Ravi Kahlon to support small & medium-sized businesses in expanding or pivoting their business online. $12M out of the $1.5B Stronger BC funding has been invested in the Launch Online Grant Program, which is expected to assist around 1500 businesses by providing grants of up to $7500 for eligible businesses. Up to 25% of funds will be reserved for Indigenous businesses and businesses operating outside of the Lower Mainland and greater Victoria. Application process is open.
