Here are 5 tips you can implement today that will give you back more time so that you won’t miss valuable family time. Tip 1 Have a Freedom Mindset We tend to look at our business as a means to an end. The more successful we are in business the more money we will make an...d the better life we will build for our family. When we focus on our business like this, we end up forgetting about what is truly important and then it is too late. However, when you change your focus and your mindset and begin building your business to give you freedom now, you will begin to do the things necessary to achieve this. Tip 2 Know Your WHAT Clarity is Power. The more clear you are with what you want your life to look like 3 years from now, the better chance you will have to getting there. Write down your ideal life 3 years from now including what your business looks like, your family life, the vacations you are taking and what you are doing on a daily basis. Tip 3 Set Clear Boundaries Gone are the 9 5 business hours. As business owners we tend to get stuck in the habit of dealing with everyone else’s to do list from the moment we wake up to the moment we go to sleep. Set clear boundaries for not only those around you but yourself as well. Make it a habit of NOT checking your phone during family time. Try replying to emails at set times every day. Tip 4 Build a Team Whether you are a solopreneur or have staff it is critical that you build a team. Focus on the activities that yield the biggest results and outsource or delegate the rest. This may include managing your website or social media to hiring a bookkeeper. Tip 5 Live Intentionally every Day Rather than have a to do list, block time each day for the different priorities in your business & life. Then stick to the schedule.
