One of our members (thank you Eldon!) came up with a Top 10 list of things he is working on with his free time. As it applies to all of us, he was happy to share but encourages us to all come up with our own list that suits our life! 1. Make your Bed. It shows you how easy it is to accomplish one thing at a time and starts your day off right. 2. Create Prospective Clients. If you look back to when you first started, what did you do that produced the best results for prospects...? How can you modernize that to work for you now? 3. Connect with Clients who are Alone. Your call might just come at a particularly difficult time for them and one little pick-me-up call from you might make a world of difference to them. 4. Do your Taxes. Maybe you'll get some much needed money back or can at least prepare over the next few months for what you owe. 5. Do Yard Work. Getting some fresh air is good for the body! 6. Prepare for the New Normal. Prepare yourself and your business so that when you get the go ahead to resume business, you are ready to hit the ground running. Know what your first 3-4 weeks looks like and have it ready to launch. 7. Help your Neighbors. Whether it be getting some groceries or yard work! 8. Clean up your House. Your office (including your files and emails!), garage, basement, car, etc. 9. Learn. This is a great time to learn a new skill or craft to enrich your own knowledge bank, to pick up a new talent or become better at something. 10. Do some Soul Searching. Think of how you can become a "better you" at work, at home, in play and in life. Plan for the future - set goals, review your budget (or create one if you haven't already) and make a 5-10 year plan.
