The months since the last post have been busy but mostly with my new obsession with paintings that are combined with acrylic pours. Except for a small amount of client work, these days being mostly retired, I'm enjoying the freedom of doing what I want when I want. Here are two of my latest paintings. I have been very busy working with my son, Christopher, on Speak ACCESS. Originally a program for people who are blind or visually impaired, it morphed into something quite different. Changing direction required a new design for the website (http://www.speakaccess.com) as well as the blog, the podcast channel, and twitter. Here are the two designs with the first one being the newest, much brighter, version.

A side benefit of being experienced in website and graphic design is that you can help family members pursue their goals. The latest effort in this regard is adding custom, wood carved signs to our art site, Loving Creations, that my son, Christopher, has carved. 2019 is the 13th year that Business Management and Design has designed the Studio Tour website, which is now a project of the Malaspina Art Society (MAS). This year the Steering Committee, decided that the Tour should have a new logo to reflect that it is in the qathet Regional District and that it is sponsored by MAS. Love's Dynamic has been updated to make navigation through the pages of the book easier.

Every few years for long-time clients I voluntarily make the effort to update the design to provide a fresh look for their websites. The latest effort was on behalf of Joyce Furness who has been a client since 2009. With regard to the changes, Joyce said, "The changes look great!" and "I like how easy it is to access the images.... Some websites get way too complicated." In order to stay home with her young son, our granddaughter, Elizabeth Juleanna Little, decided to use her art skills to pursue a career in wearable art. To help her out, I used my skills in web design for her to showcase her designs on a line of clothes and accessories.
