BUSKER'S DOLE WHIP IS BACK. For a limited time. It's made with real DOLE pineapple juice from our slushie machine and topped with vanilla soft serve. Simple and tasty. There's a tangy zip from the pineapple and a creamy finish from the ice cream. You guys have to try one. They're delicious. It's a great treat on a super hot day!

Hey, Busker's friends and family! As we close in on another anniversary, you may have noticed a transformation in our restaurant. The intent was to make a cleaner, safer, streamlined take out experience. Here’s a list of 20 upgrades we've made over the last 24 months. Some big, some small, some visible, and many that you didn’t know about. Brand new Buskers sign to replace the dilapidated original. Electrical upgrade on the exterior and roof of the building. Reimagined shelv...ing systems downstairs to manage inventory. Replaced front walkway with new concrete including a ramp for disabled or elderly patrons. Implemented a cardboard recycling program. Patio awning enclosure equipped with removable windows as well as fans, radiant heating, and cooling mister system. New concrete on the side and back for more social distancing. Consolidated the handwritten chalkboard menus onto dynamic tv displays for easier ordering process. Officially leased the parking lot next door for convenient customer access. Brand new sub table/fridge in kitchen to keep our meat, cheese, and veg ultra cold & fresh. 2 new ice cream dipping cabinets and stand up freezer (courtesy of Nestle Canada) able to hold nearly 700 liters of ice cream at once. State of the art POS computer system that tracks orders, sales history, and inventory while integrating online and phone orders. New handwash station faucet and compact easy to clean grease trap. Painted outside of the building with bright durable weather-resistant paint. A comprehensive security system with motion detection, sensor lighting, and round the clock surveillance. New triple spindle milkshake machine. Plus a sexy new fence to boot! Also coming soon, our new outside freezer/cooler replacing the decades-old original as well as a stainless prep countertop in the store. The staff and management are evolving with the times. We want to offer an enjoyable experience despite the current challenges while maintaining the nostalgia that brought you here in the first place.... Thank you for supporting us. Thanks to our neighbors Rose City Mini Storage for official use of their parking lot. They're helping us with social distancing while still being able to enjoy a summer night!! Remember, we're not allowed to have anyone sitting on the patio and that includes around the outside of the foundation. We have lots of room, spread out and enjoy the nice weather.

Storytime! Did you know that Busker's founder Mike Koutsonicolas also started The Sandwich Nook in Tecumseh? That's right! Mike and his brother Steve opened The Nook in 1994. Since then Mike's sister Maria and her family have owned and operated the restaurant. They're known for delicious breakfast but also have lots of other tasty stuff like sandwiches and poutine....and make sure you try their chocolate pie for dessert!! Today is take out Tuesday so spread the love and give The Sandwich Nook a try. It's one of the best restaurants in Essex County and Busker's sister.

Thank you for using our walk-up window. Please remember to safely distance yourself from the customer ahead of you. If your order is going to take a few minutes we’d ask you to return to your car and we'll bring it out or alert you when it’s ready. The patio area is closed for seating currently. The weather is getting nicer and the store will be getting busier but we can’t have customers congregating in the lot as usual. This summer we have to follow the rules so that we can get back normal ASAP.

Hey gang. Starting this afternoon we will be exclusively serving through the takeout windows on the front of the store. The procedure is simple. Just walk up. You'll be greeted by one of our staff. Place your order and pay. We have a portable unit for tap debit or credit. Then return to your vehicle and we'll bring it out to your car. If you're on foot you may wait in our patio area.
