Hello friends Update on Mom As I messaged awhile ago, my mother was Diagnosed with Cancer. Her stay in the Jeravinski lasted 13 weeks. January something released to me March 26 and is currently staying with me while she receives her Chemo Treatment. Her stay at the Hospital took her to the ICU 2 times. Critical talks with doctors regarding Life Saving Measures due to complications with her Bowls. She suffered Delerium from Sleep Fragmention that started with her first tr...ip to ICU. She Hallucinated, ( that was very weird for me ) . She received nutrients from a bag, and couldn't walk unassisted. Major weightloss. Our lives tured upside down . We ARE right side up again , and Hopeful the Treatments work. Today is CT scan to see how much the Chemo has treated her disease. Our Front Line Workers are Our Angels . Without ALL of Mom's supportive care , from Nurses and Doctor's while in their care, she would NOT be looking like this . I garden for my personal Therapy. See more

If they cancel the rest of the school year, students would miss approx 13 weeks of education. Many people are concerned about students falling behind because of this. Yes, they may fall behind when it comes to classroom education...but fall behind who ? BUT WHAT IF .... What if instead of falling behind", this group of kids are ADVANCED because of this? Hear me out.... What if they have more empathy, they enjoy family connection, they can be more creative and entertain themselves, they love to read, they love to express themselves in writing. What if they enjoy the simple things, like their own garden and sitting near a window in the quiet. What if they notice the birds and the dates the different flowers emerge, and the calming renewal of a gentle rain shower? What if this generation are the ones to learn to cook, organize their space, do their laundry, and keep a well run home? What is they learn to ride a bike, play a board game, do simple crafts, learn to bake, climb a tree, play without a screen? What if they learn to Understand the value of money, whats important and to live with less? What if they learn to plan shopping trips and meals at home. What if they learn the value of eating together as a family and finding the good to share in the small delights of the everyday? What if they learn to just be, to be more resilient, to be content ? What if they are the ones to place great value on our teachers and educational professionals, librarians, public servants and the previously invisible essential support workers like truck drivers, grocers, logistics, and health care workers and their supporting staff, just to name a few of the millions taking care of us right now while we are sheltered in place? What if among these children, a great leader emerges who had the benefit of a slower pace and a simpler life to truly learn what really matters in this life? What if they are AHEAD?

Weve started a new thing in our house today and sharing it in case anyone else wants to try. Every time we wish we could do something, go somewhere, treat ours...elves, see someone we love, visit a new place, invite people to visit us, were going to write it down on a post it note and put it in a jar. When all this is over this will be our bucket list and well work our way through the jar and be more grateful than ever for the little and lovely things in our lives. Until then well enjoy watching the jar fill up with magical things to look forward to See more

I was thinking about making washing hands easier. I made my own travel kit just have to pop in a bottle of water. The little white rounds things at the bottom are not mints ( haha) they are in fact Hand Towels . Just get them wet and they unravel . . Its that easy . Soap , water , towel , and paper towels to dry. Take it out with you and stay safe !!!

My Mom Needs Your Prayers Waterdown Friends and Family. I am reaching out to all of you for prayers for my mom. To bring you up to speed my mom has been having some Gastrointestinal pain and issues, that have been getting increasingly worse since Christmas. It was yesterday morning when I went see her, let myself in to see her in such a state that I called 911 , seen by wonderful parmadics , and transported to the Jeravinski ER. arriving at 12:30 pm, tests, more tests. ...You know things are not that great when they ask us to go into a room with a big table and a team of doctors opposite my mother and I . At this point its 1am . They have found a mass on my mothers overy, and its gotten so big its pushing and causing bowl obstruction and some other not so impressive spots are present. Given that it is not localized, leads to immediate suspision. The doctors explained they are calling in another team of doctors to collaborate with, and then we will take it from there. So my Waterdown Family, I ask you to please Pray and OR send our Postive Thoughts. My Mom is staying positive, and that really pleases me. Thank you to all in advance.
