I heard some great advice yesterday from @kristyleighware who spoke at the @leap.forwomeninbusiness networking lunch. She said: bookend your day. What does that mean? To create rituals for yourself in the morning when you wake up and the evening before you go to bed, to allow yourself the time to start your day off right without the stress from your phone or your email inbox, and then to wind down at the end of the day to prepare yourself for a better sleep. When we put o...urselves first, and prioritize these book end rituals, it helps to set ourselves up for success, and we realize that not everything is a mad rush. I love my time with my coffee in the morning before I pick up my phone I try to read at least one chapter of a book- but where I need improvement is my evening ritual before bed. Any suggestions??
