There are many good reasons to join us Sunday Night at 7:30pm, EST, for the 2021 Toronto Storytelling Festival Edition of But That’s Another Story and here are ...just three of them. A great line-up including: Donna Dudinsky, Ali Hassan, Johanne Pelletier, Devon Sandiford and Sage Tyrtle. We're not the Oscars. But, more importantly, it’s another chance to hear a story from co-host, co-producer and the reigning 99 Second Story Slam Champion, Christel Bartelse Actor, Writer, Producer, Clown, Teacher and Comedian, Christel got her start in comedy & clown with her work in the physical comedy duo, The Burnt Marshmallows in which she co-created and performed in over five feature length show including U-Haulywood and STUCK. As a solo artist, Christel has wowed Fringe audiences across Canada and around the world with her series of hit one-person shows that have taken her to the prestigious Edinburgh Fringe Festival in Scotland, and got her nominated for a Canadian Comedy Award. Proceeds from the show will be donated to CAMH Gifts of Light. The 2021 Toronto Storytelling Festival concludes its opening weekend, Sunday night at 7:30pm EST, with a very special But That’s Another Story. To celebrate the... occasion, we’ve invited some of our favourite tellers to join us. Our tremendous lineup includes: Donna Dudinsky, teller of old tales to the young at heart Ali Hassan, Host of CBC's "Laugh Out Loud" Johanne Pelletier, winner of the GRIT 99-second Story Slam Sage Tyrtle, winner of the Moth Grand Slam and Devon Sandiford, founder of Unreeling Storytelling Devan Sandiford is a published writer and award-winning storyteller. His stories have been featured in The Washington Post, The Moth Podcast, Speak Up Storytelling, Love Hurts Podcast, The Womanity Project, Writing Class Radio, and Open Hands Podcast Hosted by current 99 Second Story Slam Grand Prize winner, Christel Bartesle and CCA recipient Briane Nasimok , proceeds from the show will be donated to CAMH Gifts of Light.
