As we wind down 2020 and our @pickering_pba #ButlerProspects teams take some well-deserved time off during the Holidays, we wanted to express our sincere thanks for sticking with us and giving us your business during this turbulent year. Even though we are now entering another lockdown period, we believe that Butler Baseball Academy has weathered the storm and will come out on the other side stronger, more determined and with a clear vision for 2021 and beyond. We are excited... for what is to come and are thrilled that you will be with us as we continue to grow. We made it a priority this year to promote a culture of support and inclusiveness within our organization. You can see this in action through our youth baseball camps and clinics, staffed by professional coaches and Prospects player volunteers, and in our Intra squad games where players across all teams get to cheer each other on and celebrate everyone’s successes. Our daily study hall and open hours has also allowed all our players to get to know each other, despite the differences in age or how long they have been part of the Butler family. There is most definitely a positive vibe at the facility, and we thank everyone of you for that! We were also fortunate enough to give back to our community this year, with your help, supporting three different organizations: Challenger Baseball, Movember and Feed The Need In Durham. We feel that in addition to developing elite baseball players, we also want to ensure that every player who comes into our facility (whether they wear the Prospect uniform or not) develops a strong character. Cultivating a sense of charity and compassion will last a lot longer than any baseball skills they learn from us. However you will be celebrating this year, be safe, be happy, and be thankful and let us hope that a month from now we can all be together again.
