LIGHT HYBRID Light? Full? What's the difference? ... It's all about the weight and diameter of the extension that is put on the natural lash. Classic lash extensions are .10mm to .15mm in diameter! Really teeny tiny. When volume is added, the diameter of the extension is anywhere from .03mm to .07mm in diameter so that multiple extensions can safely be added to the natural lash. This set is created with .15mm CC curl singles mixed with .07mm CC curl up to 5D wide spaced fans. Using 5D is the max I PERSONALLY would put on a natural lash using .07mm diameter fans. Ideally this weight maxes out at 4D. Wide fans allowed the lash line to stay fairly natural looking, just adding a slight amount of density for lashes that are very sparse. Narrow fans would increase the density of the lashes and would require more fans to fill space. For a lash lift to be successful, placement is everything. After the shield is put on the eyelid the natural lashes are attached with a water soluble glue. Just pulling the lashes up isn't enough. They must be placed where you ideally want them to be AFTER the treatment is finished! Comment if YOU have ever had your lashes lifted! DM me to book your lift and tint before the holidays are in full swing!
Lash foam Friday! Cleanser that is! Always remember that our bodies naturally produce oils, and oils can break down SOME extension adhesives. Because we produce natural oils in our skin the more you touch your lashes the faster they could shed. Just gently comb the tips of your extensions with a spoolie brush provided at the end of your appointment to straighten out their fluff. Do not over comb your extensions or use the spoolie brush as you would with mascara. ... The perfect extension cleaner is available for purchase at your next appointment. Created by an ophthalmologist and safe for use with all extension adhesives, Chrissanthie is your go to for healthy lids and lashes. Comment below with how you are keeping your lids healthy and extensions clean! Send a DM to book your next appointment, the holidays are around the corner! See more
