This year few teammates and I are proud to be participating in Motionball Marathon of sp...ort where we will get the opportunity to join Special Olympic athletes and compete in different sports. We won’t gather in person but together are staying active and connected. Our school's goal is to raise $10,000 and we hope that with your help we can achieve this. The life of a female student athlete can be described by many words. "Easy" is not one of them. Over the course of a university career, when your week consists ...of 5 practices, 2 game-weekends, 3 gym sessions, a full university course load, and maybe even a part-time job, "easy" doesn't quite fit the situation. It may leave you wondering if it's truly worth it. Let's hear what former/current athletes have to say. La vie d’une étudiante-athlète peut être représentée par plusieurs mots. Facile n’en fait pas partie. Une semaine typique d’une joueuse de hockey universitaire ressemble à 5 séances d’entraînement sur glace & 3 hors glace, 2 matchs durant le week-end, des cours universitaire, et peut-être même un emploi à temps partiel. On réalise assez vite que le mot facile ne correspond pas à notre situation. Alors, cela en vaut-il vraiment la peine? Écoutons ce que nos anciennes/actuelles joueuses de hockey universitaire ont à vous dire.

We want to be an example. It’s really important to be a role model in the community, and for the young kids to connect with our institute. said Katia Heydra. Nous voulons être un exemple. "We want to set up camps, special clinics, and also cover different facets of the development, not only for the elite but from MAGH to adults. In this context, it was important to have women on the coaching staff. I also want to include Gaiters' women hockey players in those events to create a sense of belonging and, eventually, grow the pool of women hockey players in the region," said Dominic Desmarais. "Chloe's relentless puck hunting skills and character will help our program to grow and compete every night.
