Happy Saturday Folks! After a long hiatus and much needed break, I finally have some new work to share. This piece was captured yesterday afternoon only a few ...minutes up the road from my home. Conditions were prime for rainbows to form, so I brought my camera with me while on route to an appointment. I’ve titled this one Hope For 2020. In this upside down new world in which we live in, we are all longing for positive signs like this one, to give us some hope that this pandemic will soon be behind us. In all my years of doing landscape photography, this is the first time that I’ve captured a brilliant rainbow from end to end. You can see the hint of a second rainbow forming but it never fully developed in the few minutes I was there. Let me know your thoughts about this piece in the comments. I’d also love to hear if any of you witnessed your own rainbow over the past few days? Have a great weekend! #rainbow #bealpha #sonyalpha #hopefor2020 #fullrainbow #landscapephotography #goldenlight #2020 #chasingrainbows #sonya7riii #sony20mmf18 #roadsidephotography #autumncolors

Due to COVID19, I've had to cancel my Spring 2020 Art Show at the Woodstock General Hospital. I have 10 canvases that would have been on display and sold during... the event. With uncertainty as to when I will be able to have the show, I have decided to hold an online auction for these items. The rules and details are below. The RULES are simple: 1. Place your bid as a comment UNDER the piece that you are interested in. 2. Bid as often as you'd like but ONLY during the specified auction times. 3. DO NOT wait until last minute to bid as this will likely result in confusion and heartbreak if you were mere seconds too late. 4. Keep in mind that this is my livelihood when bidding. During these trying times, sales have been poor. 5. Have fun, be respectful of others and spread the word to make this a successful event. 6. The winning bidders will be notified shortly after the end of the auction. Porch pickup arrangements can be made for those who wish to limit direct contact. Local deliveries can also be arranged if the distance is within reason. 7. E-Transfer is the preferred, safest and quickest method of payment. You can also pay with cash if need be. DETAILS: The auction will open for bidding on Wednesday, June.17 at 12:00am EST and close Friday, June.19 at 7pm EST. Bid as often as you'd like on as many pieces as you'd like. The title, size, medium, finishing, retail price and starting bid price will be posted below each image. Again, please comment below the photo you are interested in bidding on, NOT on the main comment section for this album. Direct website links are also included below each image for a more accurate colour proof and the story behind each image. The auction album is pinned to the top of my Facebook Page. Good luck too all those who participate! Your support is very much appreciated!
